I’m so excited to introduce myself as part of the Mariée Ami staff!
As the new Marketing Director and Lead Partial Planner, I will be taking on a large role in our blog and social media outlets so I thought it would be good for you to get to know me a little better…
I was born in Nashville, Tennessee but grew up outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I decided to return to my southern roots and attend the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. While at UT, I studied graphic design and advertising and graduated in 2008 with a B.S. in Communications. In 2009, I accepted an intern position with Southern Progress Corporation as an art department intern for Southern Living at Home. It was there that I began to develop a passion for styling and social media. I was eventually hired full-time at SPC and worked as a prop and wardrobe stylist for the home décor and jewelry catalogs. I also developed the company blog and created various promotional design pieces. I am also a freelance graphic designer and stylist, most recently styling a national Denny’s campaign. I started at Mariée Ami in October, and quickly fell in love with the wedding business–how can you not? It is a perfect match for my skill set of styling, marketing, planning, and design.
When I’m not busy with Mariée Ami I enjoy exploring new restaurants, painting, re-decorating, wake-boarding and cheering on my Tennessee Vols! (Let me tell you, it has been a challenge in this Crimson office!) I’m also the oldest of three girls and have 2 wonderful sisters, Sarah (22) and Rebecca (13).
