We love all the little “”SIDE JOBS”” that our job entails. We had a very exciting invitation to a “bourbon burial” at the wedding site of Mary Hayward Spotswood. Some believe that there is one way to keep rain away on a wedding day and that is to bury a bottle of bourbon upside down in the ground of the wedding site exactly one month before the wedding. We each took a turn digging a deep enough hole for the bottle of bourbon, said a few nice words and packed it in tight. Fingers crossed!
